Q&A: Sage 100 ERP- Federal e-Filing for W-2 & 1099 Reporting

Q: An an employer, when are we required to do Federal e-filing and report for W-2 and 1099 reporting? Is there a program that Sage 100 ERP has that can assist us with this?

A: At or above 250 W-2’s or 1099 forms.

  1. Sage 100 ERP Module Magnetic Media Reporting module provides capabilities for reporting wage and payment information from the Payroll and Accounts Payable modules and 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, and 1099-MISC information on electronic media required by the federal government.
  2. In recent releases of Sage 100 ERP Federal and State e-Filing and Reporting has been provided as part of the installation disk. Federal and State e-Filing and Reporting can be installed on the Workstation of the person doing the reporting. (This is subscription based.)
  3. Once installed, Federal and State e-Filing and Reporting will appear in Payroll period end.
  4. The user must then signup with Sage Online to complete the subscription.
