In Abra payroll you can change a deduction to report on the W-2 form in Box 12 – Code DD.  Provided  you have your employee and employer portion of your health plans correctly calculating each payroll than Abra will be ready to process your W-2’s with the new box 12 reporting.

To change the Deduction type – Go to Payroll / Rules / Deductions codes and select the health plans that qualify.

Change the deduction type of Section 125 Code DD.

This will allow the full amount calculated for the year to report correctly.
